Although it may seem silly, most charging issues with RadioMaster radios are typically caused by faulty cables, incorrect port usage, or a defective power source. We know it can feel condescending when we say "check the cable," but it’s often the culprit!

Please note that the battery can also be charged with the appropriate external charger. Most RC-style battery chargers will have the option to charge a lithium-ion battery.

Find the Port:

- Most radios (e.g., TX16s, TX12, ZORRO): You can use the dedicated USB-C charging port as specified in the manual. The other USB-C port is for data and simulator use.

- MT12, GX12: Single USB-C port handles both charging and connectivity.

Charge:

1. Connect a USB-C cable to the charging port and a 1.5–2A USB power supply.

2. Confirm charging via the indicator light or screen message.

Battery Tips:

- Standard 18650 batteries: Charge inside the radio.

- Extended 2S packs (e.g., 5000mAh): Remove and use an external charger.

- Always use recommended battery/charger types.

Troubleshooting:

- Not charging? Could you verify the cable, power source, port, and battery seating?

- Persistent issues? Refer to the manual or contact RadioMaster support for assistance.

Safety:

- Never charge unattended, near flammable materials, or if wet/damaged.
